From a 16 oz. can dated 02/25/21. Sampled July 4, 2021.
The look is golden-amber with a modest, fading white head. Decent clarity.
Not much to sniff. Yes, I get some grainy malts but little in the way of hops. Maybe there were some floral elements.
The body is light-medium but kind of smooth.
the taste is sweet and I do get some of that Colli8ns mixer seltzer character. But there is little else that stands out about this one. Unlikely that I will have it a second time.

Pours a light orange. Thin foam. Light hop aroma. Mild citrus body. Lemon zest finish with a slight bitterness. I've never had a Tom Collins and this beer is not inspiring me to change that.

It's been a while since I've had anything new from Springdale, and now we're back with a "Tom Collins inspired IPA" as it's described as on the can. This is not a new concept for them, as they have a great line of cocktail-inspired wild ales, which I've enjoyed all the ones I've tried, especially the Paloma one. Hopefully this will follow in the same vein
Pours a cloudy dark gold with 2 fingers of white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves patchy lacing
This is pretty light in the nose, but the combination of specific aromas really elevate it. I'm picking up on aromas of orange rind, gin spice, lemon rind, white pepper, doughy malt, and light earthy hops
Everything that works well in the aroma also works well in taste here, though the spice is more prevalent. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting juniper berry, orange rind, floral hops, and bready malt. The swallow brings notes of dry crackery malt, tart lemon, gin spice, and orange
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a crisp and refreshing beer. Finishes dry and lightly spicy
Definitely an interesting concept, and it's executed well, but I'm not sure it has too much repeat value. Still, a fun beer

Pours a med-large frothy head with med retention, mild spotty lacing, semi hazy med golden-orange-tan color
nose is lighter than I expected, citrus up front, with some juniper behind that, a bit of a gin character, a touch of grainy-sweet blond malt, fair citrus, plenty Tom Collins, but not a lot of beer
Taste brings more of the same, citrus, actually a creamy soft juice NEIPA like citrus and doughy malt, orange cream, then mild juniper thankfully not overpowering, a bit of gin-like flavor, some tart acidity in the background, hint of alcohol, bitterness starts light then gets closer to med with citrus zest on the drier finish
Mouth is med to lighter bod, med foamy carb
Overall mixed, while it does have a nice Tom Collins, there isn't a ton of beer, although enough to know it's still there, and juniper doesn't overpower, and it feels a little thin
