Poured from a bomber labeled batch #3
Dark brown color big fluffy tan head that dissipates to a slight cap and little lacing. It was at about 60 degrees when I drank it
Aroma of oak, bourbon, alcohol and maple syrup. Mocha is there but barely noticeable
Taste is predominantly oak like, some bourbon and maple is hinted. Mocha is not there to me
Mouthfeel is slick and fairly thin. There is a tingle at the finish and a lingering stickyness and the barrel taste
Overall I was expecting more flavor, it was kind of muted and thin. The sticky feel was lactose and mocha but it took awhile to taste the mocha and I didn’t get a coffee note.

Purchased on 12/7/21 poured into a tulip glass at room temperature. Massive head that sits and stays, very slow to dissipate. Quite a dark brown, little to no light coming through. Definitely smell the bourbon, coffee and a very slight hint of maple. First sip is a mellow bourbon with coffee undertones, some dark fruit in the mix as well. Mouth feel is carbonated at first touch of the tongue but quickly rolls back into a pleasant creaminess. Overall this is a pretty nice little maple bourbon aged treat. At 8.5% it’s certainly not the biggest beer you’ll sample but if the price is right I’d snag another.
