No dating found on the can. Oddly cool, bizaaro can art complete with pink elephant.
I've seen hazier NEIPAs - semi opaque yellow beer with a sparse white head, little lace and wispy retention.
Aroma is hop forward in a refreshingly non citrus way. Sweet notes of mango and honey dew, hints of lemon zest and hibiscus. Mild, steeped grain smells waft in and out giving more beer than screwdriver nose. Give me those African hops over all the Strata and Mosaic in the world.
Flavor is hop dominated as well though some malt heft is there on the edges. Very dry overall profile, tart even and sharp in almost a good way - if there was more malt body to support it.
What body there is seems to come from barley rather than oat or wheat starch. Not balanced but at least not adjunct forward.
The finish is long and peppery with a whisper of sourness, tongue tingling and tasty.
This is why I keep trying these hazy NEIPAS - 1 in 10 or so is at least different even if not great.

From a 16 oz. can dated 09/01/21. Sampled Dec 4, 2021.
The look is a cloudy golden but not all that hazy6. A lingering cream colored head.
Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, and pine mostly with a lower profile white bread note. Prett straight forward for this style.
The mouthfeel falls into the light-medium range.
The taste is at first sweet but then the tropical and pine hops take over. Maybe even a touch of lemon zest. It is easy to drink but it does not stand out.
