It’s been a minute since I’ve had anything from Springdale, and even longer since I made a trip over there. I have a feeling that I’ll find a reason to make a trip there after drinking this one. A NEIPA inspired by War On Women, a sick punk band who I saw open for Bad Religion last year, definitely worth checking out. Let’s get into it
Pours a hazy orange gold with 3 fingers of bubbly off white head that fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
This is very aromatic, and not strictly focused on the tropical fruit vibe. I’m picking up on aromas of orange juice, bubblegum, lemon zest, crackery malt, peppery hops, pine, and light tart pineapple
It’s not quite as expressive in taste but I still really find myself enjoying it. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting orange zest, peppery hops, bready malt, light mango, grass, and lemon zest. The swallow brings notes of orange zest, bubblegum, bready malt, mango juice, grassy hops, and light lemon zest
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a crisp beer. Finishes slightly sticky but nicely balanced
Well, upon smelling this beer I thought it was gonna be amazing, but I’d still say it’s pretty damn good. I’d drink it again
