This is an old school East Coast IPA- high IBUs balanced out by a solid malt backbone. It features Warrior, Simcoe, Centennial, and Amarillo hops.

On tap at the brewery. Poured a dark gold color with 2-finger white head that left nice lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, pine, and hops with a noticeable fruit-like sweetness. Taste is citrusy sweet with some bitter hops edge, but very well balanced.

Overall, a good, drinkable beer. . .

Poured from 16oz can into pint glass in August 2022. I bought this at their brewpub about 1 month before drinking. I do not see a canned date on the label or can.

Appearance: Dark gold color with 2-finger white head. It is a deep color and has a very hazy complexion, like other IPAs. Head is very thick, and it lasts a minute time, leaving a small covering. There is a medium amount of lacing on the glass.

Smell: The aroma filled the room while the beer was being poured. Strong aroma of citrus like grapefruit, pine, and hops, as well as some sweetness like pineapple or peach. Overall, the citrus and fruit aromas dominates the others.

Taste: Sweet taste with a some bitter hops edge. There is also significant malt sweetness as well. It has a good balance and not too bitter, but a little more malty flavors for my expectation in an IPA. Has a good after-taste that lasts a long time. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.

Mouthfeel: Medium feel with a medium-strong body, which makes this drinkable. Medium alcohol, which matches the 6.5% listed.

This is a good and interesting IPA. It has a nice mix of citrus, grapefruit, hops, malt, and other flavors, which makes it enjoyable. The citrus flavors do not dominate the flavor, and it has more fruit flavors than other IPAs. I expected more hop edge and bitterness, as with other IPAs. Overall good and I would drink this again.
