Poured from fridge temp. Pours motor oil black with a good amount of tan head. Nose is full of sweet bourbon. More bourbon than most BA stouts, which I like! Getting some coffee and chocolate, and some vanilla beans. Taste is good, but perhaps not as good as the nose. The bourbon is strong, but it lacks some of the smoothness of other BA stouts. Good amount of vanilla, dark cherries, raspberries. Some coffee and chocolate tastes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a sweet aftertaste. Overall, a nice offering, but definitely not the best BA stout.
