Crowler filled 4/1/17; drank the same day @ the Family Compound.
See-through orange appearance.
Minimal white head; minimal lace.
Mango, caramel & faint pine notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Caramel, mango & banana flavors up front; fresh earth notes on the finish.
A hot mess that wants to be an IPA, a Belgian strong pale ale & a Russian Imperial Stout, somehow...drinkable but not one to return to.

On tap at the brewery served in a tulip glass.
Look- A radiant slightly hazy gold with a small finger of soapy white foam. It quickly settles to a thin ring leaving a little lacing behind.
Smell- Grapefruit, pine, orange zest and cereal/malt.
Taste- Grapefruit, pine, chewy malt and some blood orange. Some floral notes emerge in the finish.
Feel- Creamy slick up front with a bitter semi dry finish.
Overall- A solid DIPA that leans towards the east coast style. It's a little maltier than I would prefer, but a quality beer nonetheless. A pretty tasty and smooth drinker for 8% abv. It's a good start for a new brewery.
