500 ml bottle into a snifter. Had 6/25/21.
Pours a clear copper color, with a brief head and a few faint specks of cling. Aromas of malt, caramel, some cherries, brown sugar. Similar flavors- malt, cherries, caramel, brown sugar, light herbal hops. Mostly smooth, a good medium body, appropriately carbonated.
Nothing exotic or complex, just a nice, malty barleywine. It’s pretty good and I enjoyed it.
