Served at the source in KCMO. Pours very dark with a light cream head. Toasted malt aroma is not very strong. Very nice subtle caramel taste with slightly bitter finish. Silky feel coats the tongue.

Pours black with a finger of caramel colored head. Aroma is of toasted malts and lactose, and packs a presence. Flavor profile follows the path set by the aroma, with toasted malts out front and lactose sugars on the back of the tongue. Nice and heavy presence throughout the glass. Mouth feel is smooth and creamy with a medium-thick feel. Overall, a milk stout with presence. It sips pleasantly straight from the draft, all the way up to the last warm sip.
