A bold and decadent stout with layers of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and hints of dried fruit. Rich and full-bodied, this brew delivers a warming finish with subtle notes of molasses and a touch of magic complexity. Perfect for sipping and savoring. This year we aged about 1/3 of the batch in freshly emptied Bottled In Bond Straight Rye Whiskey Barrels.

2024 version in Jan '26. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of roasted malt, caramel, coffee, fruit and whiskey. Sweet boozy/whiskey taste with roasted coffee, chocolate, dried dark fruits and toffee.
