Oatmeal Cookie Stout

This pours a fairly thick, lacy dark brown with a nice dark head. The beer has a very sweet, oatmeal stout for sure nose. The beer is fairly robust for a 5.5 ABV and very drinkable. The defining characteristic is the silky mouthfeel and the sweet, almost vanilla bean flavor with some drying notes in the finish. It's a good beer. There are some dark malty notes in here as well. It is maybe a touch too sweet - hence the cookie reference in the name - but it is a good beer with nice character on a cold day. Glad I picked up the can and glad I was the first to review it.
