Pours a fluffy pillowy 1 finger head with good retention, soapy lacing, clear pale to tan color
Nose brings plenty of hops, citrus, fruit, stone fruit, tangerine, a little grapefruit, melon, hint of pine, some sweet malt
Taste brings more hops, a bit of pine and hint of resin, quickly into citrus, stone fruit, melon, mild bitterness up front, semi sweet malts with a little biscuit and hint of caramel toasty note, good balance with a hint of smooth alcohol, semi sweet finish, finishes with med to a bit higher bitterness
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, med carb, a bit of warming alcohol
Overall a nice DIPA, not quite a Pliny clone as the label hints at, but a good West Coast meets East Coast style.
