Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
I miss both Meg and Jennifer, they never got enough respect. Anyway, this stuff pours a hazy sunrise gold topped by a finger or so of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises mango, light orange zest, light coriander, light clove, a hint of banana peel, and a touch of cracked wheat. The taste brings in more of the same, the fruits coming more to the fore here, relegating the spicy yeast to a more secondary position. The aftertaste is where things go slightly sideways, as the fruits turn pithy and an earthy - almost dirty - character pervades the linger. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a nice enough hef, though I think the tropical fruit additions, as nice as they are up front, ultimately serve as detriments to the overarching experience.
