Pours jet black with soft, tan head.
Smell is roasted, crisp and bready. Notes of brown bread, toast, nuts, plums and coffee.
Taste is crisp, roasted and bit sweet. Notes of chocolate, brown bread, nuts, dried fruit and coffee. Soft bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific mild that is probably incredible on cask.
