Nice place, tough to find parking, area is great and it says SEATTLE--beautiful and eclectic. The service has never been good and I mean never. The beer selecton is your typical McMenamins. The bar itself is beautiful. Old dark, wood, high pub chairs, booths and glass on both sides to look out and admire Fremont. The food was ok but it took a while. I was the only person in there on one occasion and the bartender still took forver and pretended I was not there it seemed. She was more interested in her male coworker in the kitchen. My least favorite McMenamins location in Seattle.

Dad Watson's is located in the eclectic area of Fremont. It made for a great place to stop and grab a couple of pints while exploring the area on foot. The pub is comfortable and welcoming; a couple of hours passed before we knew it. The beer was fresh and top notch...plenty of variety to choose from. The barley wine (Warhammer, I believe) took our vote as the best beer there. Considering it was a Sunday afternoon and the fact that our party (4) made up about half of the total customers there at the time, the service was lackluster to say the least. We had to repeat requests on several occasions before our server got all the orders correctly. Besides the service, which hopefully was only bad this one time, I'd highly recommend Watson's.
