From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Thanks for this one!
This solid little stout pours a dark blackish brown with a moderate head of
khaki foam that fades to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some nice
light lacing. Nose of dark coffee, dark roast, char, faint smoke, and dark
roasted malts. Flavors follow the nose with dark coffee, dark bitter bakers
chocolate, char, subtle smoke, roast, and caramel. Mouth feel is medium
full, light carbonation, and a bitter coffee and malt finish.
Overall, a solid little stout.
Cheers

16 ounce can, no dating that I could find on it. Purchased at the brewery about a week or so ago. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like coffee, roasted malt and some caramel. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some dark bready flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and easy to drink with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, worth trying if you get the chance!
