Bangor Trust Kitchen & Brewery

Finally stopped in here to try the beers. The vibe is decent, kind of homely with a relaxed family feel to it. It also kind of gives off the sense that you're in a cafe of some sort too. The selection of beers are kind of minimal, They have 3 beers on at most times and the styles aren't really anything that people would be writing home about. They also have a small selection of cans and bottles from other local PA breweries in a cooler near the entrance if you're not interested in the beers that are made on premise. The service is attentive and friendly. The food was smelling very good even though I didn't order any at the time. If I ever happen to go back I'm definitely going to look over their food menu to see what peaks my interest since the beers they're making aren't really the styles I tend to personally seek out. All in all, it's a chill spot though and if you're looking for a place to drink or eat I'd say check it out. They also have games you can play at the bar like Yahtzee and stuff which can be entertaining.

They just recently started brewing and haven't done an IPA yet, so I don't know if their beer is any good. But the place is really nice, food is interesting and well done, service is excellent and they have a good selection of mostly PA craft beer in cans. And they play good music, lots of GD. A friendly place. I hope they're around for a long time, great addition to the town.

Now they've been brewing for a year and still no IPA or any other beer style I'm interested in. And while they used to have several good IPA's in cans they now have only one. Not sure why they would get rid of the IPA's. And the menu needs updating. I guess I'll give them another try if they ever brew an IPA, but I'm disappointed so far in their selection of beer styles.
