Half cask at Crown & Kettle. Near black pour, filmy beige head, ring. Roasty aroma up front, big hit of bitterness. Taste is burnt toast, roasty, coffee with a tough of cola sweetness on the back end . Smooth but was expecting something richer from cask.

Dark brown to black with a bubbly, 1cm tan head that settles as creamy lacing. It's a dark, roasted nose with chocolate malts & an earthy bitterness with some lactose at the end too. The taste is similarly dark with roasted malts, light coffee & chocolate with milk sugars following with a faint sweetness. The beer is very smooth, almost full bodied & creamy with a faint bitterness to finish.
