Dark brownish amber. Cloudy.
Light tan head.
Smells of dark brown bread crust toasted.
Tastes of dark bread, sweet caramel malts, huge hit of bittering hops.
Very aggressive American amber ale. Nothing subtle.
Don’t be afraid to try it, be prepared for it.
Well made.

Poured out of a can into a pint glass. This amber ale presented with a rich, foamy head with decent retention - some lacing present. Characteristic red-gold hue with just enough clarity to see bubbles rising. Aroma shows a good balance of hops and malt, with the taste following - just enough bitterness to bite without being too powerful. Beer is full-bodied in the mouth, carbonation level is very nice, letting it linger just long enough to get a good taste of the flavor without being too light so as to encourage fast swallowing, nor too heavy that it wears out its welcome.
