A hazy copper color with a light tan head, this doesn’t look like a NE-style IPA, and the smell and taste aren’t to style, either - it’s not juicy (though there are citrus notes) and there’s a significant malt component.
So it’s really a low alcohol (4.7%) old school IPA - but it’s alright in a pinch, especially when you’re jonesin’ for some hops after a long day and the next best choice for hops is SA Boston Lager.
