First of all at 5.9% abv it is not a German Pilsner.
It’s very cloudy, dark gold. Not to style.
Smells ok. I would compare it to a strong Helles or Dortmunder export.
Tastes very sweet, this is a very heavy malt forward brew.
I still say it’s well made but just not in the right category. I’d call it an all grain American strong lager. Fancy malt liquor. It’s a big beer, not bad by no means. Just not even on the same continent as a German Pilsner.
