Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a frothy white head that leaves chunks of lacing.
Smells of citrus hops and some sweet malt.
Tastes of the citrus hops layered over a solid malt base. Hops lead off with notes of grapefruit, tangerine, and some pine. This gives way to some floral notes before the malts add in. Malts have some graininess along with a bit of syrupy sweetness. Finishes with a lingering citrus hop note.
Mouthfeel is medium with a smooth amount of carbonation.
Overall, this is a pretty good pale. It features the amarillo pretty well, but could use a bit more balance.
