Well, you can taste and smell the alcohol in this DIPA although the ABV isn´t that high. Other tastes are pine, resin and blueberries. Medium carbonation, good mouthfeel.

Pours dark gold, hazy with some fine particulate visible when held to a light, big rocky white head Very good retention; rings of lacing. Lovely. Grapefruit and some booze in the nose, very piney at the base though. Smells like your hands after a day of cutting and handling firewood back home where all the trees are pine. The flavor is sharply bitter. Herbal, pithy, pine sap, nigh-medicinal. Well-hidden alcohol, subdued carbonation, very dry. This is a good IIPA that could easily become a great one. Gorgeous. Great feel. The aroma and flavor are both missing a little complexity, though. The former a little less so. The flavor is strangely abrupt. Like it is just a quick flash of intense, clean, unremarkable bitterness and then not much else. Real quick and to the point tasting hard to describe. It doesn't take away from the experience but it certainly doesn't add to it either. Not bad though.
