A bomb of hops! Our West Coast IPA has strong aromas of pineapple, grapefruit and tropical fruit, It offers a sustained bitterness with flavors of grapefruit and hip resin. Its dry body allows the hops to shine.

A:
Pours a not-quite-clear honey gold with a three-inch, virgin white head. Very good retention, sparkler lacing. (4.25)
S:
Lemon zest, medium pineyness, grapefruit pith, saltines. (4.25)
T:
Sappy sweet citrus-juniper with a bready malt middle and a drying resinous finish. (4.25)
M:
Dry as a bone, fizzy and a little creamy with a lasting, bracing hop tingle for the finish. (4.25)
O:
Very, very nice IPA.
Looks as you'd expect, not terribly clear. The aroma is bright and citrusy (not in the sweet, new way, though) with some sticky green sharpness to it. The flavor is the opposite in terms of focus. More piney than fruity but still both there. There is a very nice malt body to the flavor that helps give it some heft, dry and drinkable. A very enjoyable, solidly made beer. I'll definitely grab one of these on sight in the future. I had always heard their hoppy stuff was good, but never really happened upon it fresh enough. I'm glad to see they are maybe distributing a little more frequently and using cans. (4.25)
