Tap at the brewery
Nice creamy thick head, semi hazy golden honey color
Nose citrus, orange, tangerine, big melon and papaya like tropical, bubblegum, Amarillo?, little mango, pretty much no malt maybe a hint toasted malt
Taste lighter side but citrus and tropical, tangerine, orange, some pith big rind, papaya, mango skin, little melon rind, little spicy bitterness
Mouth is med bod, softer, decent carb
Overall I like the basic profile, although it's light, however I think they, like most breweries, missed the real point of an NEIPA. It's not just tropical and citrus fruit, you need the creamy suspended proteins to capture all the juiciness of the hop isomers.
