Draft at the brewery
Rich foamy fizzy head that seems like it's trying to fade but reinforced by streaming bubbles for a good retention, light foamy lacing, very clear but dark chestnut maroon color
Nose sweet toffee and caramel malts, biscuity toffee, little candy, decent fruity esters, a touch nutty, and candy notes
Taste more toasty biscuity toffee malt, some caramel notes but more like toasted reddish malt, medium bitterness, soft lager notes with some fruity esters, bordering syrupy, little yeasty and bready, maybe crash the yeast a bit more or attenuate a little less, mild sticky finish, medium bitterness lingering
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, a touch syrupy, higher almost distracting carb,
Overall mixed, started quite nice, good malts, good lager, good fruity esters, hops get a little heavy, and the yeasty, sticky, and over carbonation characters detract a bit
