Think they borrowed the idea for this beer from me. I used to make an iced coffee cream ale for the homebrew jamboree that was always a hit. No can date
Pours a large frothy foamy head with med retention, good messy lacing, crystal clear honey blond color
Nose brings fresh earthy nutty but smooth up front, then cream ale with some maize/corn and a little cracker doughy malt, hint of herbal hop
Taste brings more cereal mash maize and toasted corn, more smooth coffee a bit of roast mild earthy nutty fresh coffee, smooth without harsh coffee bite, hint of herbal spicy hop, touch of bitterness, drier finish with med herbal bitterness and smooth coffee
Mouth med to a bit lighter bod, little creamy, med fizzy carb
Overall well executed, nice blend of smooth but flavorful coffee, malt and maize/corn like coming through, easy drinking and enjoyable
