On-tap 10/30/2021 at Pour Farm Tavern in New Bedford, MA, served in a tulip glass.

A: The beer is a deep cloudy gold color, with a short dense off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, floral hops and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out sweet and bready with a strong fruity citrus sweetness and a hearty malt character. Then a strong but subdued floral hops bitterness comes in along with some spice in the finish. The after-taste is slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid 2IPA to drink for a while.

An average pour from a 16-oz. can produced a lasting fat finger of creamy white foam with streaks of sliding lace.
Cloudy, opaque yellow straw color with yellow-orange highlights.

Piney and citrus hops great the nose with white bread, fresh baked and toasted. Alcohol is faint but noticeable.
It smells as if it could be quite bitter,,,it is.

Semi-dry with bold bitterness, spice and pepper are added to the pine and citrus. More oaty than malty, pale bready malt is in the mix. The taste of dry citrus juice (lots of grapefruit) is in charge. The finish is drawn out as bitterness rises to well above average. A moderate alcohol astringency fades during the aftertaste as peppery spice lingers a while.

Medium body with plenty of soft, abundant carbonation. Smooth for a double, the label states Double India Pale Ale.
A bit on the light side for a double, this would do well as a NEIPA. Highly recommended regardless of style.
