NO can date
Pours a frothy semi thick 1 finger tan head with great retention, messy lacing, very dark basically black color with a hint of dark brown light
Nose mild roasted dark malt, dark roasted coffee, a bit of a creamy milk chocolate and cocoa, toasted caramel on bread crust, with some coffee milk, baking spices,
Taste more dark roasty malt, roasted coffee but nowhere near burnt or acrid, into dark chocolate notes, coffee milk, a bit creamy, cocoa into toasted caramel notes again, rich dark bread crust, a touch nutty, with some herbal spicy hop notes coming through and med-lighter bitterness, then finishes dry with med-high spicy hop bitterness, more dry roast
mouth is med bod, med to higher frothy carb, soft lager but creamy as well
Overall a nice dark lager, great malt profile without going over the top, good hop character with a nice bitterness on the finish, good lagering, quite enjoyable
