Fresh Dutch pilsner (or "The Golden Shtuff" as the brewer's Opa used to call it) is a rare treat here in the States. Delicately flavored using Dutch pilsner malt, a touch of character malt (for a rich golden color) and a dusting of noble hops, this smooth, crisp, refreshingly light libation is the perfect compliment for these hot Summer days.

This is a Dutch style Pilsner, a category not on Beer Advocate.The beer pours a nice golden color with a 3F head. Not bad, lackluster aroma/taste. A mild hoppy finish. The beer is well brewed, but doesn’t have the distinctive flavors of a Czech or German Pilsner.
