Wissahickon Brewing Company "Toleration"
$4/half pint on tap at the brewery on 14 July 2018
Look: Cloudy light golden body beneath a creamy head of bright white that holds well and leaves very good lacing.
Smell: Hoppy with notes of citrus, berry, and pine.
Taste: As the aroma suggests. It appears to be a New England IPA that's nicely balanced between citrus juiciness, mainly orange, and sweet berries (Mosaic hops?) and soft pine. A moderate to median bitterness (30 IBUs) balances it and it finishes dry, fruity, and lightly piney.
Feel: Medium bodied leaning towards medium-light, and gently crisp-then-smooth.
Overall: An excellent, really well-balanced and highly drinkable IPA.
