Wissahickon Brewing Co. "Schooner"
$6/pint on tap at the brewery on 07/28/2022
Notes: This is a "New Zealand-Style Pilsner dry hopped w/ Nelson Sauvin."
Look: Clear golden in color beneath a finger's width of bright white foam. Good to very good head retention and lacing.
Smell: Lightly sweetish grainy malt with grassy, floral, and fruity notes.
Taste: The flavor follows the aroma. A stiff bitterness runs through it and leads to a dry finish.
Feel: Medium-light in body and crisp.
Overall: This is a great idea but I didn't really get the Nelson Sauvin character of gooseberry, white grape, and passionfruit.
