22oz bomber
Birthday gift
Odell Snifter
Pours a light brown that forms into more of a medium brown, with a 2 finger head in the snifter, gradually receding to 1/2 finger.
Aroma of lime zest, orange, mineral, and slight coffee and bittersweet cocoa.
Flavor is what I'd expect something like a sour Doppelbock to taste like. Slight chocolate and caramel malts, with a faint smokiness and some very faint coffee. The sour element is out front though, with a fruity bite of orange, tangerine, and black lime.
Feel is crisp and very carbonated, has a light-medium body with slight slight chalk on the finish. Very biting.
Overall even though I'm not a fan of sours, my friend said he'd buy me a nice bomber as long as it was a sour for him to share. Good choice.
