An oat stout with smooth, roast, coffee, chocolate character. Dark caramel and fruit, earthy hops. Super drinkable, kinda perfect for a long day at the brewery!

Black! SRM 40+ with a half-inch, dark chestnut foam that is dense, only fading after five minutes, becoming a thin, foamy veil. The lace forms a fine, solid coating, interspersed by rings on a Fisheye pint glass.
This beer has equal parts dark chocolate and dark roasted malt, with a hint of coconut followed by lots of cappuccino.
The flavor is quite bitter, yet within the style range. Sweetness is also present, given the effect of Baker's chocolate. The roasted malt and black coffee form a background. A long, moderate finish reaffirms the bitterness.
Oat Stout has a medium to full body with decent carbonation and more alcohol than expected. The beer has a smooth, slick, nylon texture and is lightly abrasive.
This is a well-made beer, which I imagine could easily fit into a lazy session with friends or after work with colleagues.
