Bottled on July 24 opened on August 13 2017 batch #001

Slightly hazy golden color. Active, fluffy white foam cap. Good retention.

The Rakau hop is the center of attention here, the aroma is an earthy, grains and hay with lemmon like zest. Mild citrus fruits and tangy ,sweet fruity and sour notes. A bit peppery down deep.

Super crispy, light and jazzy approach and mouthfeel. Rather smooth and full in the middle and pretty juicy in the end. The very zesty, lemmon, earthy tones of the Rakau hop are very interesting. A nice blend of light crispy malt and the very complex hops are really an excellent balance. I thouroughly enjoy the focus being on one hop. You can easily get the full effect and flavor of the hop. This flavor is very tangy/earthy/fruity in that order.

Overall, a very intersting hop. I like the earthy/tangy aspect and the subtle flavors of grains and citrus. Well done.
