L:. Pours a slightly muted orange color with a bit of have and a small white head that leaves thick rings of lacing around the glass.
S:. Some Brett funk up front mixed with notes fresh tropical fruit and some berries and a slight bit of floral notes in the back.
T:. Brett funk and grain, some fresh tropical fruit but lighter than in the nose, mixed with some wild berries. Some nice dryness and tartness. Some candied orange in the finish. Very nice and complex.
F:. Lighter body and smooth carbonation.
O:. This is a very good Brett beer and has an awesome name.

this one isnt quite there yet, or rather, the brett is just really young, not all the way developed into making this dry and funky, right now its just sort of doughy and yeasty and not as refined as im sure it will be in future batches. i like this little brewery though, and i think its cool they have some more ambitious styles like this working right now. a little orange glow to this one, a light haze, and a short white head. some immediate young brettiness in the nose, a fruity tropical sort of hop complexion, and a little more grain heft than it needs i think, some honey and toast to it. the flavor is about the same, i wish the brett was more mature here, but i think the base pale ale is quite solid, and in time this well be drier and funkier and cleaner at the same time. light bitterness to the hops, a candied orange note, and some young funk. cool beer, messy brett, probably only a matter of time before they get this one properly dialed in. still drinkable and interesting in this form too...
