Aroma: Coriander, sweet rock sugar, no alcohol noted, and a bit of maple syrup.
Appearance: Copper/amber glass with a thin collar that left a little lace
Flavor: Spiced. Coriander as noted, all-spice, nutmeg, some raisin and as it warmed, some orange peel. No hops or alcohol noted in the taste either.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied, firm carbonation, creamy texture.
Overall Impression: Spicy, but interesting. The spices give it an almost winter warmer aspect, very Christmas in character. Still, they are at an “interesting” level, not an overpowering one, so the result is very drinkable, dangerously so with the 8%.
