Cloudy orange honey pour with a bit of off white head at the draught house
Very hefeweizen like yeasty aroma. Taste of spices, coriander, clove, all the usual hefe suspects. Typical fruity backing I'm noticing in all their non stout-y beers. This isn't a pale ale as listed here, but rather as indicated on their website, a "Hefeweizen dry-hopped with Pacific Jade. Kaffir Lime leaves added. " Decent enough, but I don't care for hefeweizens.

According to the brewer, this beer is described as "experimental" because it is flavored with Pacific Jade, and Kaffir Lime leaves.
Appearance: Hazy medium golden color, with a moderate white head, thin glass-coating lace, and slight carbonation.
Aroma: Classic Hefeweizen aroma of wheat malt, yeast, cloves, and ripe bananas.
Taste: Intense bitterness from the lime leaves at the open, this carries throughout the taste, and overshadows the beer's other flavors. Beneath the lime bitterness, there is a classic Hefeweizen, but it is overshadowed by the bitterness of the lime.
Mouth feel: Smooth and full, pleasant, classic for the style.
Drinkability/notes: The Kaffir Lime leaves were an undue distraction. Perhaps if the lime were used sparingly, its flavor would play off the Hefeweizen characteristics more favorably.
SAmpled on tap at the Draught House in Austin, Texas.

On tap at the Draught House. Flyer described it as a Hefe with Pacific Jade and Kaffir Lime leaf.
Aroma: Spicy with some of the lime leaf coming through.
Appearance: Clear-cloudy glass holds a ½ finger head that laces with authority.
Flavor: A solid Hefe profile. Wheat roughness, good banana-clove element, but the lime leaf really hits too hard.
Mouthfeel: Medium light body.
Overall Impression: Nice try, but too heavy with the lime leaf. To paraphrase Sam C of DFH, more hops than you think, less spice than you think.
