Big dark black pour with a very small tan head. Coffee bean roastiness is very evident in the aroma and lets you know what the beer is all about right away, without being too excessive. Rich, biting, slightly acidic fresh coffee flavor. Well bittered, and strongly flavored of coffee, the way I tend to enjoy my coffee beers. Slightly full mouthfeel but with a bubbly carbonation makes for a nice mouthfeel. This is a very nice coffee beer.

One of my new favorites from the Draught House. You have another winner here, Josh.
From the tap poured into a pint glass.
Appearance - It had a one finger head that dissipated to a thin tannish crown. It is opaque black.
Smell - The main scent out of this brew is espresso. It is slightly roasty, with a hint of cocoa powder. The scent is slightly one dimensional, and it doesn't prepare you for the coffee slap in the face that the taste contains.
Taste - The flavor is HUGE black coffee. I want some cream and sugar for this stout;-) It is very roasty with a bitter hop finish. It is delicious - like drinking an alcoholic espresso.
Mouthfeel - It light/medium bodied. It has a slightly thin feel from the moderate carbonation level, but also kind of creamy as well.
Drinkability - I really like this beer. This is a beer that I would drink before noon if the Draught House was open in the AM, and if it were socially acceptable to drink beer in the morning;-)
