Pours a dark maroonish color with a great big pumpkin pie aroma. Nicely strong nose, and a taste to match. Well spiced, nutmeg seems more noticeale that in most pumpkin beers, and this beer carries itself on a nicely rich body. Can't stand the watery pumpkin beers disguising a simple base with a hint of spice, and this one really gives a nice mouthfeel and rich flavor. A nice touch of hops in the end, and I think it makes this one of my favorites of the style.
