Pint on cask at pub June 19, 2019
(Pub has three beer engines for cask ale.)
L: pale gold, murky, about 75% opaque; sticks along top of soapy-bubbled head of foam but no lacing
S: sour/sweet grain, peach, sweet lime juice, lemonade-tea; always just a bit more sweet than tart
T: lightly tart grain with bits of tart apple, kumquat, just a hint of sweetness
F: feels a bit dead after the pour, but it holds onto its carbonation very well as you get into the glass
O: not as good as the Blackpool Summer Ale on cask but still quite tasty; it might be just a hair on the older side; for my tastes, this style doesn't seem like a great candidate for being put on cask ... loads and loads of carbonation fit it better; still, a solid attempt at a cask ale
