Pint on a Saturday. Paired very nicely with the free brats (cooked in SS Rauch) and kraut. Bartender said it was brewed with 50% rauch malt.
Golden amber. Strong and interesting aroma.
Not too ham-y, but some barbecue flavor. Hop presence too. Pretty unique. It works. Very drinkable. Recommended.

Had at the pub on 12/27/2008.
From the website description:Smoked ale balanced by stewed malts and mellow hops. Uses Magnum and Liberty hops.
Appearance. Poured into a pint glass with little or no head. Color is light pale.
Aroma: some smoke. not too bacony. Malty.
Taste: Initial smoke flavor but faded quickly to red ale like maltiness, some hops.
Mouthfeel: Real nice. Low carbonation gives it a subtle smoothness.
Very nice drinkability.
Another awesome beer from Josh. Nice to see more smoked beers and this one is well done.
