Tasting Notes: Inspired by the traditional Czech style, Polotmavý Ležák, which means half-dark, Rubiconda is a full-bodied, garnet-coloured amber lager hopped with Czech Saaz. Our take is double decocted to enhance the malt character and create a fluffy, lasting head of foam that pays homage to the traditional methods of crafting this style. Naturally carbonated and fermented ice cold with a traditional Czech yeast, this beer is designed to be malt forward and rich with a malty sweetness balanced by a bounty of hops. Expect flavours and aromas of maple cookie, dried fruit, holiday spice and toasted nuts with a caramel sweetness that lingers on the tongue with every sip.
