I half expected it to have pulp.
It's just a little bit harsh around the edges. It's not overly hoppy but it's there.
I do get notes of oranges in this one.

Canned on 9/27/2024 so less than 3 weeks old when reviewed. It pours a hazy, pale, grassy lemon color with a modest cap of ecru foam and a thin sheen of lacing. The fragrant, citrusy nose includes lemon, grapefruit, and grapefruit. It is truly a citrus bomb! Big notes of lemon and grapefruit with increasing peach and tropical fruit as it warms. The Galaxy hops are used to excellent effect. The Pilsner malt and wheat give it a dry, crackery base. This ale is well-carbonated but lite and easy to drink at 7% ABV. Overall, if you enjoy tart, bitter, citrus, then Pulp is highly recommended.

A finger and a half worth of crisp bone white froth... Limited retention... Color is a slightly hazed pale gladiator lemony yellow... Nose is subtle but there is a faint sweet citrus presence.... Flavor profile is consistent with nose but with a distinctive floral addition... On the lighter side of medium bodied... Lightly carbonated and a bit chalky... Subtle, enjoyable and decent but an unremarkable offering...

Hazy to cloudy dirty gold color. Impressive three-finger head that forms a dome and dissipates slowly. Plenty of streaks and spots for lace.
Strong prickly pine and fresh-cut weed aroma. The pale malt smell is barely perceptible.
My initial taste seemed to be very pineapple-y. Oddly, subsequent sips cover this up entirely. This is a dry and nearly astringent beer. The hop is extraordinarily strong with a large dose of black pepper. This translates into a long, bitter aftertaste. The body leans full with a higher than average carbonation level.

Poured from a can it is pale gold with a significant head. The aroma is faint citrus. Tastes citrusy and bitter with a pithy finish. Not as sweet as I expected for a double. Each sip releases an explosion of bubbles that make the beer have a creamy mouthfeel. Perhaps a bit too much carbonation but fine. Overall it's a really good beer with nice citrus and bitterness.

16oz can poured into a goblet
A- pours a murky orange color with a one-finger foamy white head that reduces to a ring around the edge after leaving plenty of lacing
S- tropical forward hops on the nose with aromas of mango, guava, cantaloupe and zesty citrus peel
T- zesty bitter citrus note up front are followed by tropical notes of mango, guava and ripe melon. Mid-palate brings out a sharp bitterness that continues into a zesty bitter finish
M- medium body with medium carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that continues into a creamy, bitter finish
O- nice tropical notes up front, but has a super bitter finish, which you wouldn't usually associate with a hazy IPA

Opaque yellow gold (SRM 2-3). Opalescent when held to the light, though not the murky haze of a NEIPA. A big, fluffy white head sparkles at two inches. After a couple of minutes, the head fades to a quarter of an inch, leaving a sticky webbing of lace on a Pretentious Beer Glass Company Hoppy tulip glass.
Pulp has the expected ton of fresh tropical fruit, predominantly mango. Orange juice and possibly papaya are also present. Faint, and I mean very faint, one will find catty hops. Warmth brings out pine aromatics.
This is quite bitter and sweet, however, bitterness easily wins out. There is a hint of sourness, possibly because mango and orange are so prominent. Bitterness has that gum numbing effect shortly after entry and lasts long after the finish. Warmth draws out orange pith.
The body is dense and creamy, while super soft and smooth. Alcohol is as expected and there is a nice bite of carbonation that is clearly active without grabbing one's attention. Similar to how a movie score accentuates one's perception or emotion, the carbonation does the same with flavors.
The can labels this as an IIPA and that certainly fits my experience. Therefore, I scored it accordingly and suggested an edit to the style. This beer went well with a cold Sunday afternoon in November. A bit of reading, a bit of quiet, and all is well.

Pours a hazy straw colour. Almost looks like lemonade. Frothy white head, looks like it wants to hang out.
Nose is guava, dank, papaya, mango, and a bit of cotton candy. Very tropical forward.
The flavor is tropical and citrus fruit forward with notes of dankness. Very drinkable. Sweet until the end, where it finishes dry and a bit bitter, keeping the flavors from building on the palate.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied with fairly aggressive carbonation. Alcohol warmth is noticeable on the finish, but does not diminish what this beer is doing well.
Overall, this is a very drinkable DIPA. It's not complex, and it doesn't need to be. Would pair well with grilled chicken and roasted veggies.

Pours a hazy light yellow, smoky white head. Very nice hoppy aroma, loads of tropical fruit. Good tropical fruit flavors, pineapple, apricot. Has a pervasive bitterness that amps up at the end. Dry, bitter finish. Overall, a good DIPA, not my favorite.

Appearance: Arrives cloudy and honey colored with a head of creamy froth; curtains of lacing are left behind
Smell: Grapefruit dominant but papaya mango and lychee tones are detected
Taste: Papaya and lychee forward with the mango tones building; pithy grapefruit, through the middle, takes the juicy flavors in a moderately bitter direction; the finish is dry
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and very creamy; moderate carbonation
Overall: An outstanding look and mouthfeel add to the delightful flavor profile
