Appearance: Pours a clear copper color with a very modest head that quickly fades away; a few dots of lacing
Smell: The oak tones permeate bringing vanilla and vinous white wine grape; cidery with yeast aromatics
Taste: Tart and oak forward with both cider and vinous elements developing; the oak burgeons through the middle, with a hint of vanilla in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low carbonation
Overall: The base sour beer used by Bhavana displays impressive complexity

This one blew me away. Pour amber orange with no head. The sour oak character was powerful in flavor, but delicate enough in intensity to let the bouquet of fruits flourish, barrel is the star. Pomegranate, grapefruit, banana, pear, grape, flowers and hibiscus are all present to me. Feel is smooth, sour, and somewhat yeasty. Really enjoyed the complexity here.
