Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a two finger head that fades but leaves splashy lace
Smell: Tangerine and funk with a strong vinous character; peppery yeast aspect
Taste: Sour tangerine forward with the Sauvignon Blanc wine barrel adding a vinous aspect; quite funky, in the middle, with a peppery punch, in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: With this edition of the Cellar Door series, Bhavana moves boldly into citrus territory; I find the combination of citrus and sour flavors can be difficult on my palate and this beer is certainly challenging my tastebuds
