Appearance: Pours ebony colored capped by two fingers of tan foam; the head sticks reasonably well and leaves webs of lacing
Smell: Roast, chocolate, coffee and vanilla tones with a strong oak character and hints of Bourbon
Taste: Roasted tones forward with Baker's chocolate and fruity coffee tones emerging; through the middle, the oak comes through, along with a subtle Bourbon character; the vanilla holds back until the finish when it blends in with the other elements; s lot of roast in the aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with moderate to high carbonation which makes it seem thinner than it is
Overall: Nice flavors here but I would prefer a creamier mouthfeel
