Appearance: Pours pitch black with one finger beige head; a few spots of lacing stick
Smell: Rich coffee aromatics with chocolate and cinnamon tones; all the flavors merge with the Bourbon barrel tones
Taste: Coffee and Bourbon forward with the cinnamon tones developing; chocolate flavors emerge, in the middle; the cinnamon grows more distinct, after the swallow
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with overly fizzy carbonation
Overall: For a big, barrel-aged coffee stout, this one is a disappointment; the mouthfeel, in particular is all wrong, but the flavors lack the big chocolate punch
