Appearance: Coffee-colored liquid pours with a nice bubble show; the beige head builds to two fingers and then settles in; only a few spots of lacing
Smell: Toasted brown bread and caramel with a hint of molasses; Bourbon tones complement
Taste: Caramel and toasted brown bread forward with the hint of molasses adding a depth of sweetness; the Bourbon flavors build, through the middle and envelop the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: Well looky here, a BB Doppelbock; been a long time since I had a Doppelbock let alone one that was barrel aged

Look: It pours dark brown with a brown head. Head retention is very good.
Smell: It has a strong bready, bread crust like aroma. There are also hints of alcohol, and slight bourbon.
Taste: It has bread and bread crust flavors with the bourbon being more noticeable in the taste than in the aroma. The alcohol is noticeable, but not hot. There are also very low dark fruits and a touch of roast.
Feel: It has a medium full body with smooth alcohol warming.
Overall, the bourbon blends in well and is not overpowering in the flavors which makes the combinations complex.
