This dark, barrel aged sour sat on figs to develop an earthy, chocolaty profile. This sour beer has sour notes of dark chocolate cherry with a full body. Sour, rich, and very sour.

Appearance: Arrives coffee colored with a tan film; spots of lacing hang around
Smell: Chocolate and fig with a lactic sourness
Taste: Lactic flavors emerge with chocolate and fig tones; oaky, through the middle, with a growing sourness in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; somewhat puckery
Overall: A very nice dark sour with a good interplay between the chocolate and dark fruit
